Water supply upgrade and pipe replacement Brisbane
15+ Years in Brisbane

Better Pressure.
Better Pipes. Better Flow.

Many Brisbane homes — particularly older properties — have water supply systems that simply weren't designed for modern demand. Whether it's weak shower pressure, ageing copper or galvanised pipes, or an undersized supply line from the street, we can diagnose and upgrade your water supply to give you reliable, consistent flow throughout your property.

  • Pipe replacements — copper, PEX and poly pipe
  • Water pressure diagnosis and improvement
  • Meter-to-house supply line upgrades
  • Hot and cold water line re-runs
  • Isolation valve and fixture upgrades
  • Commercial water supply upgrades

Our Water Supply Services

From a single pipe replacement to a full property re-pipe, we handle all water supply upgrades for homes and businesses across Brisbane.

Water Pressure Upgrades

Low water pressure is often caused by undersized supply lines, corroded pipes, or a failing pressure limiting valve. We diagnose the cause and fix it — whether that's a simple valve adjustment or a full supply line upgrade.

Pipe Replacements

Ageing galvanised or copper pipes are prone to corrosion, leaks, and restricted flow. We replace old pipework with modern copper or PEX — improving reliability, water quality, and pressure throughout your property.

Meter-to-House Connections

The supply line from the street meter to your home is often overlooked — but an undersized or deteriorating main is one of the most common causes of poor pressure across the whole property. We upgrade these connections properly.

Hot & Cold Line Re-Runs

Extending your home, adding a bathroom, or relocating a kitchen? We re-run or extend hot and cold water lines to suit your new layout — ensuring correct sizing, insulation, and compliance throughout.

Isolation Valves & Fittings

Faulty or missing isolation valves are a compliance issue and a practical headache. We install and replace isolation valves at fixtures throughout the property, giving you control over individual water supplies without shutting off the whole house.

Commercial Supply Upgrades

Commercial premises often have higher demand than residential supply infrastructure is designed for. We assess and upgrade water supply systems for offices, retail, hospitality, and industrial properties to ensure reliable flow under load.

Water Supply
FAQs

Questions about your water pressure or supply pipes? We've covered the most common ones below.

Ask Us Directly

The most common causes are a faulty or incorrectly set pressure limiting valve (PLV), corroded or undersized supply pipes, a partially closed isolation valve, or an undersized meter-to-house connection. In older Brisbane homes, galvanised pipes that have corroded internally are a frequent culprit. We'll diagnose the actual cause before recommending any work.

Signs that your pipes may need replacing include discoloured or rust-tinged water, frequent small leaks at joints, reduced water pressure over time, or visible corrosion on exposed pipework. Galvanised steel pipes in older homes are particularly prone to internal corrosion — if your home was built before the 1980s and still has the original pipes, it's worth having them assessed.

We use copper and cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pipe for most residential replacements — both are durable, compliant with Australian Standards, and far more resistant to corrosion than older galvanised steel. The best choice depends on your property layout, budget, and specific requirements — we'll recommend the right option for your situation.

Council (Urban Utilities in Brisbane) is responsible for the water main in the street and maintaining minimum mains pressure. Everything from the water meter to your property is your responsibility as the homeowner. If your neighbours have good pressure but you don't, the issue is almost certainly within your property's supply lines — which is where we can help.

Yes — adding a granny flat or extension often means extending both hot and cold water lines to the new space. We ensure the supply is correctly sized to handle the additional demand without reducing pressure elsewhere in the property, and all work is carried out to Australian Standards with the necessary compliance documentation.

A full re-pipe does require access to pipework inside walls and ceilings, which involves some patching work — typically done by a plasterer after we're done. We plan the work carefully to minimise disruption, keep water off time to a minimum, and always discuss the scope and process with you in detail before starting. For most homes, the work is completed over one to two days.
